Grosser Zeplanner IV
I love the idea of steampowered lighter than air vessels. This piece is the fourth version of my mighty Grosser Zeplanner. This vessel has three smoke stacks and two propellers (the propellers spin!). The design is both sleek and powerful; with lots of fine detailing. It is made of pewter, brass, bronze and copper. It's frame is integral and made of painted wood and paper with brass hardware on the back. This piece is intended to be displayed on a wall (many of my framed pieces are also "wearable", this one is not wearable.)
The frame measures 9.5 in x 7.5 in x 1 in deep. The airship itself is 4 inches long.
This piece is unique, there is only one.
