My Honor Roll rocket brooch/necklaces each honor someone (real or fictional) who inspired me to create these pieces.
The pieces in THIS group are all sterling silver WITH 14k gold detailing. Each of the pieces in this group is UNIQUE (one of a kind).
The first piece:
“the Princess Nancy” is named for my sweetheart and constant source of inspiration. This brooch/necklace is sterling silver with 14k gold details and a diamond (aprox .10 ct). It comes with a 24 inch sterling silver chain AND is available with a frame (so that it may be displayed on a wall, when not being worn). It is approximately 2 1/2 inches high x 1 1/2 inches wide.
The “flames” are her highnesses idea.
The second piece in this group is “the James Arthur” which is named for my late father James Arthur Schwabe. My Dad was an amazing man in many ways. Among them, a master craftsman, jewelry designer and (to me) teacher. When I was a teenager and into my early twenties I worked in his shop helping him create beautiful pieces of jewelry and amazing precious metal sculptures. At that time, his principal customer was Cartier, NY (that was the caliber of the work produced in his workshop). I still own and use hand tools that he gave to me (and taught me to use) 50 years ago. Thank you Dad.
This piece is sterling silver with 14k gold detailing. The fins are 14k on sterling silver “clad” metal (10% of the thickness is 14k, the rest is sterling).
This piece includes one moving part (as many of his precious metal sculptures did). The gold circle around the rockets engine turns. This brooch is approximately 2 inches high and 1 1/4 inches wide.
